The Umbrella Cockatoo is highly intelligent, loving, affectionate and very emotional. They like nothing better then to snuggle, cuddle and be scratched. The Umbrella Cockatoo has charmed its way into many households. They need large amounts of time from their owners and should never be bought on impulse. A Cockatoo can be very loud. They are not suited for apartment life. A Cockatoo enjoys chewing, chewing anything including the fine antiques. We are now seeing more and more great talking Cockatoo?s. A healthy diet consists of pellets, good mixed parrot seed, fruits and vegetables. Frequent showers are a must for Cockatoo?s. At this time we have a wonderful surgically sexed female baby just weaned. We call her Sugar because she is so sweet of course. BIRDTALK (May '05) magazine describes the Cockatoo as one of the three most intelligent companion birds. Sugar is ready to be placed in a new loving home.
